The Napa Lighted Art Festival is a celebration of creative arts, technology, lights, and supports innovative techniques using light and light technologies as a growing art medium. This is a free public event for all ages. Lantern designs are to be inspired by your creativity and they are encouraged to be uplifting and imaginative! This short half-mile loop starting and finishing at Oxbow Commons Park is energized by live music by Funk Fatale and the featured artist, YOU! We invite community members to participate and create their own unique lantern to carry on the parade route. Lights Out is being created by Sunderland BID along with Sunderland City Council, the Bridges, Gentoo, University of Sunderland and Sunderland College. It will be Lights Out at the city of lights, as Sunderland prepares to welcome the spookiest festival the region has ever seen.įrom 25 October to 3 November the city will be alive with things that go bump in the night, scary installations and a range of family-frightening activities.
